Welcome to Our Class Blog!
I'm glad to offer this interactive site for our English classes. This will give us a chance to respond to readings, writings, and other media. I hope we all have a chance to use this technology to improve our own writing as well as develop our personal opinions. Artimis Fowl is a great book for action/fantasy/humor lovers. Artimis Fowl is a 12 year old boy that makes a plane to kidnapp a fairy and trade her back for fairy gold thats 50 flod more vauible than regual gold. the fairy is namned Captian Short a leader in the lower elements LEP. The LEP are a group of super highly traind police thatare like a bunch of 007's. The auther in Eion Colfer.
Hatchet is a very nice book, I loved it. It is about a 13 year old boy named Brian who is journeying in a plane to get to his mom's house(His parents are divorced), and the pilot has a heart attack. The pilot showed Brian how to control the plane and even let him do it, so Brian did that until the plane was out of fuel. Then, he crashes into the woods. He is left with nothing to keep himself alive but nature. He made a fire, he had to eat raw eggs, fish, and all natural foods and drinks. He had to survive like that for weeks.
Great book.
Lord Loss is part of the demonata series and i liked it very much. It is about a kid who sees that he has powers and that he can enter a whole different world of demons, monsters and anything els you can think of ( except for unicorns ). The author is Darren Shan, and he is also the writer of a series that you might be familiar with, the Cirque Du Freak. i liked this book very much, so thats my recommendation.
The book i read was called A Soldiers Heart by Darren Shan. This book took palce in the 1700's when the American Revolution was going on. The boy lies about his age to get into the army because he thinks its soo much fun. When he leaves his town, people are chearing for him because most of them will die fighting for the country. If you like History, Action, or Biographies you would like this book.
Starting middle school,
this is a great book! It is split in A LOT of different stories about girls in middle school.
It also gives you tips on ways to deal with stuff in middle school.
I would recommend this book to girls that are in or starting middle school.
i am reading this book called hachet it about a boy that is 13years an old boy named brain is in a plane to get to his mom house but the pilot had a hardattack. so luck the pilot sow him how to fly a plaine then he crashes into the woods.
